A study appears in Microbiomer because it helps explain a relevant finding, contrast or limit in the literature reviewed that day. Inclusion does not certify a claim, endorse an intervention or turn one publication into a cumulative evidence verdict.
The scope of this policy
This launch policy governs Microbiomer's public editorial work: daily evidence updates, their source links, the methodology used to describe them and the way potential inaccuracies are reported and examined. It does not make claims about future services or client work that do not yet exist.
Three editorial controls
1. Attention does not change the evidence
Selection gives a study space in a daily account. It does not improve the study design, increase the size of an effect or establish that the result applies beyond the reported population and outcome.
2. The source stays identifiable
Scientific statements in a canonical daily update link to their source studies. Descriptions keep the component, population and measured outcome specific enough for a reader to understand what was actually tested.
3. Limits remain part of the finding
Microbiomer states relevant design constraints, distinguishes association from causation and separates clinical outcomes, biomarkers, microbiome function and microbiome composition. Missing information is not silently reconstructed. A microbiome change is not presented as a health benefit unless the study measured and supported that conclusion.
Published records and later changes stay distinct
A factual inaccuracy, new evidence and a method change are different events. A reported inaccuracy is checked and its cause is addressed in the underlying data, method or safeguards; the published page remains unchanged. New evidence enters the current evidence process. A method change applies through a newly dated method version. These events are not collapsed into one public correction record.
